A SOLDIER DOG.
(Sent Jn by ißita Kappely, Te Ngae Boad, Rotorua.) Paddy, a Mack and white fox terrier, was a real he was actually born on the battlefield during the Sudan War. After a time he became the property of'the 15th Hussars, and when that gallant regiment charged at Suakin, .over the sand of the- desert first and foremost, leading his friends into action,' went Master Paddy. The jolly little dog barked and frisked along as if war were -the greatest game on earth.
