EXPORT BANNED.
Irish Cattle for British Market. INQUIRIES IN GERMANY. (Received 11 a.m.) DUBLIN, December 25. As a reprisal for the limitation by the British Government of the importation of fat cattle from Ireland the Free State Government has prohibited the export of cattle 'to Britain without the issuing of licenses," anart from one or two minor classes. The Government also announces the establishing of a consultative council of prominent cattle dealers to work in conjunction with Mr. de Valera's representatives, who are visiting Berlin seeking alternative export markets.
