LEVY SCORES A CENTURY. MELBOURNE. December 25. In the Sheffield Shield cricket match against New South AVales, Victoria in its first innings made 382 (Darling 91, Ebelin 32). Howell took five wickets for 97 and O'Reilly three for 92. New South Wales in its flrst innings made 199 for three wickcte (Fingleton 70, Bradman 08 not out, Kippax 23). Playing at Adelaide against Queensland, South Australia in its first innings made 393 (Tobin 55). Bensted took two wickets for 53, Gamble two for 103, Brew two for 108. Queensland in its first innings made 147. Wall took three wickets for 32 and Grimmctt five for 58. Queensland followed on. and in its second innings was dismissed for 339 (Levy 14S, Oxcnham 50, Andrews 48, Thompson 42). Grimmett took six wickets for 134 runs. South Australia lost one wicket for 35 runs.
