ATTRACTIVE SUMMER FASHIONS.

The summer meeting at Ellerslie is tlie time when l)amc Fashion hei'eclf, and to-day, on the lawn, were numerous lovely models. The materials this year are most becoming. There were to be seen hosts of flowing crepe de chine patterned, not so inuc|i with the floral designs of last year, but with lines and cheeks. A close competitor with the silk materials was the check organdie, which was accompanied by large picture hats made of plain muslins featuring large bows. A feature was the colour of the shoes that matched the patterns of the frocks. The gardens and avenues pf the course made a beautiful setting for'tho feminine array. Among those present were: —
