NORTHERN CRUISE.
MONOWAI SAILS TO-NIGHX. About 330 people are leaving by the Union Company's liner Monowai this evening for a cruise to Northern port*. They will return on Saturday morninjr. The ship was dressed in bunting to-day, and the interior was gaily decorated with lighting effects and streamers. The vessel eails at 7.30 o'clock tonight from the Queen's wharf, and is to visit Whangaroa, Russell and Port Fitzroy. At each call the passengers will be able to land for sightseeing. A round of entertainments has been arranged for each day for those who remain aboard, as well as for landing parties. The Monowai will sail for Sydney on Saturday afternoon.
