A HOLIDAY MARKET. QUOTATIONS STILL LOW. SHARP DROP IN DANISH. Latest cables received from Toolej Street, London, reveal little change in th( market for New Zealand butter anc cheese, both of-which rule at exceedingly low prices. A feature of the latest return* is the sharp drop recorded in Danish which had in recent weeks mainta'inec an. unusually high premium over othei brands. The weekly cable received b} the Press Association from London reads as follows:— For butter there is a holiday market Danish. 106/ per cwt; choicest salted New Zealand, 67/ to 68/; Australian, 66/; unsalted, 5/ to 6/ premium. Cheese is slow. New Zealand white, 48/ per cwt; coloured, 44/; Australian, coloured, 43/. Merchants' Cables. Cables received this morning by local produce dealers from their British principals have been as follow:— Messrs. A. S. Paterson and Co. (principals, Messrs. J. and J. Lonsdale and Co., London): — Butter.—Market quiet, buyers inactive owing to holidays. Danish collapsed, 85/ per cwt f.o.b. (106/ landed); New Zealand, 66/ to 67/; Australian, 65/ to 66/. Cheese.—Market steady. White, 47/6 to 48/ per cwt; coloured, 44/. Mr. M. O. Stewart (R. and W. Davidson, Ltd., Glasgow):—■ Butter.—New Zealand, salted, 64/ to 67/ per cwt, equivalent 7.27 d per lb 'f.0.b.; unsalted, 70/ to 72/, equivalent 7.99 d. Mather steadier tone. Cheese. —White, 47/ to 48/ per cwt, equivalent 5.04 d per lb f.0.b.; coloured, 14/, equivalent 4.59 d. Market quiet. Mr. L. McCartney (Messrs. Henry A.
