ROTARY CONFERENCE.
DISTINGUISHED VISITOR. "GREATEST LIVING CHINESE." (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Thursday. Cable advice was received to-day by MLr. T. C. List, governor of Rotary in Sew Zealand, that the International President, Mr. John Nelson, of Montreal md appointed Dr. Fong Poo See, of Shanghai, a director of Rotary International specially to represent Rotary In;ernational at tho annual conference of •otary clubs of the Dominion to be held it New Plymouth on February 27 and 28 md March 1. Dr - Fong Sec has been described as one »f the greatest living Chinese, a deep thinker, an authority on international -elations, and one of the most eloquent ind earnest speakers modern China has produced.
