OTAHUHU POINTS MEETING,

A meeting was held at Sturgess Park last evening bv the Otaliuhu branch of the Auckland Athletic Club. This was the third of a series, and a wonderful improvement in the management was noticeab e, and each event was got off promptly, the ground was in good order, and the attendance —in spite of threatening weatherwas excellent. Unfortunately two of the field events had to be dropped, as heavy rain set in towards the conclusion of the meeting. - The star event of the night was the BSO vards race, and in this G. YVhye put up a great performance to dead-heat with Blockley. . . . , The cycle events were keenly contested and sonie brilliant riding was witnessed. Results:— „■,,,,' Schoolboys' 7u Yards.—E. Douglas (7yds), 8. 100 Yards Senior.—first heat : T. Blockley (7yds), 1: F. Arnold (Byds), 2; H. Trcvena (2yds), 3. Won by Uyds. Second beat: L. Clark (41yds). 1; G. W'hve (2vds), 2; W.
