DAIRY PRODUCE. The following cables have been received this morning by local merchants from their London principals:— New Zealand Loan and Mercantile. — Butter, 73/. Market steadier. Cheese: White, 40/. Small supplies available. (Jolouicd, 47/. Market slow. Messrs. Joseph Nathan and Co.—Butter: 73/ to 74/. Quiet. Cheese: White, 49/; coloured, 48/. Steady. Messrs. A. H. Turnlnill and Co. (principals, Messrs. W. Weddel and Co., Ltd., London).—Danish butter, 112/. New Zealand, salted butter, 71/ to 74/; Australian, 00/ to 72/. Market steadier. New Zealand cheese: White, 49/ to 50/; coloured, 40/ to 47/. Market steadier. LONDON WOOL SALES. LONDON, November 28. At' the wool sales 10,459 bales were offered, including 3864 New Zealand. About 8710 were sold. There was good home and Continental competition for jincr sorts, for which full rates WW maintained. Inferior and faultics were irregular. Withdrawals were fairly numerous. New Zealand greasy crossbred, Waipao, top price 14'Al, average 11VM. WHEAT CARGOES. (Received 11 a.m.)

LONDON, November 23. Wheat cargoes opened quiet at 3d to Od easier, but were firmer on announcement of Argentina's official control of exports. Buyers are awaiting further developments. Parcels are in quiet demand. Australians are 3d down. West Australia, December, ox unnamed, 23/ per quarter. Futures: — London: December. 19/ per quarter; February, 19/1: April, 19/5. Liverpool: December, 4/4 jier cental; March, 4/7"s; May, 4/9%. ' CHICAGO WHEAT VALUES. CHICAGO. November 29. Wheat for delivery in December is quoted at 83% cents per bushel, for delivery in May at 87% ccnts, and for July delivery at 57% ccnts. THE PRICE OF GOLD. LONDON, November 29. Gold is quoted at £0 5/0 per ounce.
