LEAGUE FOOTBALL.
SEASON TROPHIES. There was a large and enthusiastic attendance of players and supporters of the Rugby League code at the Manchester Unity Hall last evening when the/shields, cups and caps won during the season were presented by the patron, Mr. J. B. Donald. Mr. G. Grey Campbell, chairman of th« Auckland Board of Control, presided. In addition to the list of winning teams published on Monday, the Marist seniors received the Thistle Cup for most point* scored in the second round. The sixth grade champions, Devonnort United, received the Rhodes Shield (named in honour of the late chairman of the board), and another shield was handed to the schoolboys, both of these handsome trophies being made by Mr. H. Walmsley, an invalid supporter who received a welcome.
