WORLD'S TINIEST BOOK?
OMAR KHAYYAM TRANSLATION
(Received 12.30 p.m.) WORCESTER .(Mass.), October 25. The' completion of what is described as the smallest printed book in the world was announced here to-day. The volume consists of 28 pages of 46 quatrains, and is k translation of Omar Khayyam. The size is 3-16ths by 6-16ths of an inch. It is bound in leather and is printed from copper plates.. Seven plates, each containing four pages, were made by photo engraving. Two quatrains appear on a page. The completed book weighs one-third of a carat and took seven years to complete.
