NEW LEGISLATION.

NEXT BRITISH SESSION.

(British Official Wireless.) (Received 1 p.m.)

RUGBY, October 25.

At a long sitting of Cabinet legislative proposals to come before Parliament were under consideration. Parliament will reassemble on November 7, butfprorogation will follow shortly afterwards, and after a brief interval the new session will open, on November 21. The most important bill to be placed before Parliament when the session opens will be that for extending the scope of the unemployment insurance scheme. It is understood that the clauses of the draft bill were subjected to close examination at to-day's sitting of Cabinet.
