FANCY DRESS DANCE.

Under the "auspices of the Good Shepherd Convent School, Telford Avenue, Dominion Road, the children's annual fancy dress ball was held at the Carlton Hall, Sandringliain, on Thursday evening last. Great credit is due to the sisters of the Convent School for the splendid training of the children, who executed a large and varied programme of dances, including lancers and several Morris dances, in very fine style. There .were many prizes for the varied and beautiful costumes, the prize for the best dressed girl going to M. Wood, as powder and patches. The prize for the best dressed boy was won by Monte Streubent, as Don Elverardo. The judge was Mrs. J. J. Fox. The prizes were distributed by Rev. Dean Murphy. Amongst the adults present were: Mesdames D. Collier, Smith, Clarke, sen., L. 0. Cox, L. McPike, Wood, J. Drallin, li. V. Shepherd, Misses M. and E. Smith, M. Clarke, P. All press, J.
