Admissions that , he had confessed to crimes 110 did not commit, and to others of which he had not beien charged, were made by a witness called by the defence in a case at the Supreme Court yesterday which came before Mr. Justice Smith, A Maori, Charles Murphy, was arraigned on a series of charges arising out 'Of tho breaking and entering of 'the stores of the Farmers' Trading Company at Papakura and Pokeno.
