BRETT'S CHRISTMAS NUMBER DIRECT MAILS TO LONDON. The postage on copies of Brett's Christmas Number when sent by direct mail to England is one penny, as against fivepence via Vancouver or San Francisco. An opportunity to take advantage of this cheap postage is afforded to-morrow, when a mail, closing at 10 a.m., will be dispatched for London via Panama by the Remuera. Correspondence should be specially addressed, "Per Remuera." Another direct mail by the Port Alma, due in London on December 7, closes on Monday, October 30, at 10 a.m.
