WARSHIP'S VISIT.
LABURNUM FOR GISBORNE. FIRST IN TWENTY YEARS. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) GISBORNE, this day. The visit to Gisbome next month of H.1I& Laburnum will mark the first occasion in nearly 20 years that a warship has berthed at Gisbome. When the Philomel waa able to berth in February, 1914, the event was regarded as something outstanding as indicating the progress which had been made with the development of harbour works. Shortly afterwards, however, the harbour was again silted up and it has only been recently that comparatively Large vessels have again been able to use the wharves. The prospective berthing of the Laburnum, therefore, holds more than usual interest to the people of
