LIBERAL GAINS.
CANADIAN BY-ELECTIONS. OTTAWA, October 24. The Liberals won three by-elections to-day. The seats gained were:—Restigouche, New Brunswick, a former Conservative seat; Yamaska, Quebec, where the Liberal member had been unseated through a Court action; and Mackenzie, Saskatchewan, a former Progressive party seat. The new-political body, the Co-opera-tive Commonwealth Federation, made its first bid in Mackenzie for Federal Parliamentary honours. ,
