DISCOURAGED at career. (Received 2 p.m.) HOLLYWOOD, October 24. ■ The police report that Robert Mantell, son of the late Shakespearean actor, wot and killed himself early to-day in ■ ® flat occupied by himself and. his pother, known on the stage as Genevieve Hftmper. The suicide, for which friends wld the police the motive apparently discouragement over his career as a & actor, took place on the eve of the toother's return to the stage, where she Was -to appear in the role of Portia.
