i (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) GISBORNE, this day. Mr. Vivian Blackburn, of Gisborne, a medical student at the Otago Medical School, has been notified that an appointment in the medical division of the Royal Air Force awaits him upon his passing the medical examination for which he is now preparing. He previously went to England in an endeavour to secure admission to the flying division of the Force, but being unsuccessful returned to New Zealand and continued his studies with the object of entering ihe medical branch in the same eer^crv
