MIGRANT'S WARNING.
MISFORTUNES IN AUSTRALIA.
VANCOUVER, October 17,
Mr. R. R. Crofter, now _ residing in Vancouver, issues a warning against proposed assisted emigration to Canada. He claims to have lost £4000 in a £10,000 farm scheme in Australia. He says he grew produce, but could not market it, and nearly 4000 others failed in the same circumstances.
The Governments of Britain., Australia and Victoria have repudiated responsibility for these losses, says Mr. Crofter.
