Both very quiet. j * . BRISBANE WOOL SALES. BRISBANE, October 17. At the Brisbane wool sales to-day 11,072 bales were offered. The selection was rather above the average. There was a very strong market with I the Continent and Bradford the principal i buyers. Excellent clearances were effected. 1 The market was distinctly in sellers' favour. Top prices were: Greasy Merino, 20? id; scoured, 30d. BRADFORD FIRM. : LONDON, Octobcr 16. I Bradford is firm, with rather more business, especially for finer sorts.
