Mr. IT. Luke returned by the Limited this morning from south. Sir. R. Telford, of Wellington, arrived by the Limited this morning. Mr. A. M. Could returned this morning by the Limited from Wellington. Mr. G. X. Morris, S.M., of Whangarei, is visiting Auckland, and is staying at the Station Hotel. Sir. R. Glover Clark and Mr. C. J. Lovegrove leave by the Limited for Wellington this evening. Sir. I. J. Goklstine, Mayor of One Tree Hill, returned from Wellington by the Limited this morning. Dr. H. W. Williams, Bishop of Waiapu, lias been elected president of the Christ's College Old Boys' Association. Sir. -T. B. Patersoti was granted six months' leave of absence at a meeting of the Auckland City Council yesterday. Sir. H. SI. SlacKay, managing director for New Zealand Airways, Limited, arrived in Paknerston North yesterday from Duncdin. Sir. P. V. Cave, general manager of Eyre and Spottiswoode, London, sailed by the Niagara yesterday for Vancouver, en route to England. Mr. T. B. Clay, chairman of the Auckland Harbour Board, left for Wellington last evening to attend a meeting of the executive of the Harbours Association. Sir. IL D. Bennett, president of the New Zealand Wrestling Association, is expected to arrive from tlic South on Friday, and will leave by the Monowai on Saturday 011 wrestling business. Sir. E. J. R. Cumming, formerly Commissioner of Taxes, and his sister, Sirs. Bezer, who have been visiting relatives in England and Scotland, left London by the Orford on September 30 on their return to New Zealand. Mr. IT. B. Burnett, superintendent of the Auckland Harbour Board, and Mr. H. E. Barrowclough, the board's solicitor, are leaving for Wellington by the Limited this evening, on business connected with the board in Parliament.
