St. Alban's Pack. A "pound night" was held on Friday last, at which the Invicta Cup was presented to the winnfng Sixer. In making the presentation, Mrs. Jenks, with a few well-chosen remarks, warmly congratulater Sixer Donald Carter and the White Six on being first winners of this trophy. The monthly medal was won by Sixer Eric Loe. Group Scoutmaster Cronk also made some interesting remarks to the pack, who afterwards gave cheers for Mrs. Jenks and AssistantCubmaster Smith. Grey Lynn News. S.M. Swales advises that on Friday next the troop is to meet at 7 p.m. prompt at the den, Coleridge Street. Leaders will report to S.M. at 0.30 p.m. All boys are to bring overcoats. * 15 * # Ist Auckland. The Parnell Pioneers, now known as St. Mary's, celebrate a quarter of a century of good scouting on Friday next, | October iiO. It is hoped that all old I scouts will endeavour to bo present at ; the function, which commences at 8 p.m. iin St. Mary's Hall, Parnell, whilst a j cordial invitation is issued to all local scouters.
