THE STANDING COMMITTEE. KEPORT OX OKPHAXS' HOME. Further sittings of the Auckland Anglican Synod were held yesterday. After a conference of clergy, they were entertained by Archbishop Areriil and Mrs. Averill at lunch. The clectii.n of lay members of the standing committee' resulted in the return of Messrs. C. J.
