REVOLT IN SIAM.
Clash Between Troops and Rebel Forces. AERODROME CAPTURED. (Received 12.30 p.m.) SINGAPORE, October 12. A rising has occurred among the troops in Eastern Siam and they have captured Donmuang aerodrome, which is a regular landing stage for air services from Europe.
Thirteen kilometres from the capital, Bangkok, the rebel troops encountered the Government forces, and firing occurred. No details are available. Martial law has been proclaimed.
The King and Queen of Siam arc staying at the seaside. Armed guards have been placed at the foreign legations and banks. The population of Bangkok is quiet. The Siamese Consul in Singapore expects his Government to restore normality in two or three days.
