What lie describes as Germany's rapid preparations for poison gas warfare on an unparalleled scale, is disclosed by Mr, Arthur Gillian, general secretary of the Chemical Workers' Union.
Writing in the '"Sunday Referee," Mr. Gillian declares that German experiments include arsenical gas which burns the body and penetrates gaa masks. A poison gas factory at Hambourg produces 200 cylinders of "chemical death" weekly.
A network of factories, working on peace time products, can quickly be transformed into the biggest chain of poison gas arsenals in the world.

The trial of the Dutchman Van der Lubbc, Heir Torgler, a former Com-' munist deputy, and three Bulgarians—Popoft", Dimitroff and TanefT, on charges of high treason arising out of the burning of the Reichstag on the night of February 27 has ended at Leipzig. The Court will now adjourn to Berlin, where the hearing will be resumed in the Reichstag building.
*- Pleading imperfect knowledge of the German language and saying he had no desire to insult anybody Dimitroff, who was expelled from the Court on Friday, was readmitted yesterday. He asserted that even though lie was a Communist he had the right to defend himself and expect the Court's questions to be quietly objectively submitted. BAN ON JOCKEYS. NON-ARYANS CANNOT RIDE. Large numbers of them, mined and drilled, are massed at Lechfeld, Bavaria. They boast that they will return to their homeland as conquerors.
