HIGH SCHOOL GIRL'S DEATH.
FALL WHILE RIDING

HAMILTON, this day.
While riding along a bitumen road near her home at Matangi yesterday afternoon Anne Elizabeth Ran6tead, aged 13, daughter of Mr. W. L. Ranstead, farmer, of Matangi, was thrown heavily when the horse slipped, and sustained a fracture of the skull.
The girl was admitted to the' Waikato Hospital, but died at 6.15 to-day without having regained consciousness. She was a pupil at the Hamilton High School.
