PETER PAN'S CAMPAIGN

BOOKS FOR HOSPITAL

KIDDIES.

Peter Pan's appeal to club members to donate story books and magazines for distribution amongst the little sick folk in the hospitals has met with a good response. Still there must be many of our members who possess comic books, back numbers of magazines, siory books d>r annuals which haive long ago been read, enjoyed, and then placed away in the bookcase and forgotten. Remember the many happy hours they have given you, and share your pleasure with the little folk in hospital. Our thanks to the following members who have contributed books for our campaign:—

Antoinette Guiiy, Remuera (3 dozen volumes of "Little Folks' Magazine); 'L.5.8.," Ellerslie (back numbers of Young Folks' Budget); Alan Wiles, Morningside (14 boys' papers); Lorna Narracott, Ellerslie (X dozen books and toys); Gwen Buckley (140 Schoolgirls' Weeklies); Leola Reed, .iandringham (7 books); Mary Duncan, Auckland (21 books and magazines); Helen Lietz, Auckland (7 books); Joyce Goodwin, Sandringham (matchbox tops). These are very splendid parcels indeed, but the big box in Peter Pan's office is not yet quite full, and full , mus t he before we send our club gilt to the hospital. Do your -bit, boj's and girls. Remember, in order to avoid postaire parcels may be left at the front office of the "Star," Shortland Street, City. PETER PAN.
