BOXER MARRIED.
Jack Berg Hopes for Title Match. Jack Berg, the Stepney light-weight boxer and contender for the world's title, was married at Princes Bow Registry Office, recently, to Miss Helen Bunty Pain, the cabaret artiste.
A large crowd turned up to greet the bride and bridegroom.
Berg, who arrived twenty minutes before the time of the ceremony, was given an enthusiastic cheer by his boxing colleagues and friends.*
Bowers of flowers and a. huge horseshoe of marigolds adorned the office.
When . the bride arrived with her mother, a few minutes late, she was met by Mr. C. B. Cochran, who gave her a way.
The ceremony took place in the presence of Mr. Frank Jacobs (Berg's manager). Mr. Teddy Berg (brother), Captain E. Trevor, who was best man, and a few friends.
After a reception, at which there were more than 100 guests, Mr. and Mrs. Berg left for their honeymoon in Italy.
The pair sailed this month for the States, where Berg hopes to secure a match for the world's light-weight championship with Barney Ross, holder of the title.
