WINOOKA IN AMERICA.
(Received 5 p.m.) NEW YORK, October C. Winooka worked over five furlongs today in 1.8 3-5, and was fighting for his head. A fair-sized crowd watched the work and were impressed. It was stated to-day that there was still a good chance of Winooka being seen in a race here, possibly over six furlongs, 011 October 20.
