Fifth Game of Tour.—Taranaki Backs Outclassed. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, this day. The St. George (Sydney) ' I.ensue team completed its tour to-day by defeating Taranaki by points to 11. The game was disappointing, i:i that the visitors were weakened by injuries, and the Taranaki backs failed to snow nip 011 attack, lacking tlio visitors' combination. _ « The first spell ended with the score six nil, but with the wind in the second spell, St. (!eorge made the most of their opportunities, throwing the ball about well and giving their speedy three-quarters plenty ot chances. For the vTsitors, Martin, Brentinn (two). Rice, Sprouster, and Killiby scored, Ward and Killiby converting one each. For Taranaki, Fraser, Lewis, McLeay, and Coles scored, Fraser converting one. St.* '—' Tarauntil . The players and officials of the St. George team, of Sydney, will return to Auckland early to-morrow evening, and will lie the guests of the Auckland Boxing Association at the '1 own Ilall (in Monday evening.
