GRANT FOR PERCY HOLMES.
The Yorkshire County Club, who are dispensing with the services of Percy Holmes after this season, have decided to make the player a grant of £250.
Holmes, who has played many brilliant innings for Yorkshire, lias been unable to find his form this season, but on August 10 he obtained his iirst 50 of the summer and took part in a century stand with SutclilTe.
