POLYANTHUS, AURICULA AND FORGET-ME-NOT.
These are homely plants that certainly cannot be left out of tho spring bed or fcorder of the home garden. The blue of tho forget-me-not is peerless, and the charm of the polyanthus and auricula is infinite. They are all dwarf plants, and in 110 way aggressive, and do not take possession to the exclusion of other plant*. They should be planted 111 masses. Just now they are in bloom, but seed of polvantlius and auriculas can be sown, and will produce plants that should bloom next season. Old plants are best lifted and divided as Boon as flowering-is over and, as they can be lifted and planted almost enir time during the year, this j* " a good time to procure plants, because' tou can see just what ■vou are getting. For soil they need plenty of humus, leaf soil, sand, and cow manure in almost any quantity is the most suitable admixture.
