AGERATUMS.
FLOSS FLOWER.
This is usually grown as an annual, Imfc in the Auckland district it is a harrly perennial. Easily raised from ■feed, there arc several dwarf varieties that, are excellent plants to use as an edging to a. flower bed. Although the original variety, Ageratum Mexicamim, sri a plant growing 1 Sin high there are 3iotv several dwarf varieties growing only Cm to flirt high. This is a "blue" flower,
for although there are -white varieties 5t is as a blue flower that the Ageratum dss esteemed. They are also easily raised from cuttings, and it is difficult -to account for the reason "why such an ■easily grown flower is so seldom seen. Seeds sown now in pots or boxes will ■produce plants that will flower well this .autumn.
