THE INDEFATIGABLE PERRY.
In lawn tennis circles in England the question is freely discussed as to whether F. <T. Perry is wise in going to America and Australia. Perry has been globe-trotting for two years, and he lias had practically no respite from the same. He is young and very fit, but tho strain is likely to tell in the long run. England shall need Perry next year, and she shall need a fresli Perry — not a stale one. Perry's own attitude is that he loves tho game and the glamour and excitement of it, and that lie cannot have too much of it. I wonder if he is right, writes a London critic. If he knew how to rest I think he would be the gainer. _ He specially wanted to meet Vines in America, and Crawford in Australia, and expressed confidence of his ability to beat them.
