EMBARGO REMAINS.
STOCK FROM BRITAIN.
"I have to advise that there is no immediate intention on the part of the Government to lift the embargo against the importation of stock from countries in which foot and mouth disease exists. Should any proposals be foripulated in so far as the importation of stock from Great Britain is concerned every opportunity will be given to producers to consider them and express their views thereon."
The foregoing letter from the Hon. C. E. Macmillan, Minister of Agriculture, was read at yesterday's meeting of the Auckland A. and P. Association and received.
