LOAD TOO HEAVY.
DAIRY COMPANY FINED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) DARGAVILLE, this day. In the Magistrate's Court, before Mr. G. N, Morris, S.M., the joint counties traffic inspector, Mr. F. Waters, prosecuted the Northern Wairoa Co-op. Dairy Company, Ltd., 011 a charge of carrying a load greater than the maximum for which it was licensed. The secretary of the company said that the load was taken a distance, of only about 300 yards. Mr. Waters said that the load weighed 4 tons 2cwt. The company was fined £3 and costs. Cedric Raymond Vincent, of Auckland, was charged -with carrying goods without first having taken put a heavy traffic license. He did not appear but wrote pleading guilt}', and asked to be dealt with leniently. "This is another of those lorries carrying for northern transport," said Mr. Waters. The Magistrate: We will make the fine the same as for the last offence, £5 atid costs 22/.
