LONDON, October 1. Mr. \\ . I'. Devereux, representative of j the Australian Wool Council, reports as tollows:—'J.he London sales continued iirm at opening rates for all good greasy j Merinos and crossbreds. largely owing to active competition by Yorkshire and Germany.
