PETER PAN.
Bright music and gay frocks at the Peter Pan Cabaret made Saturday evening a very enjoyable one for those who attended there. Bowls of beautiful ranunculi and daffodils were arranged on all tho tables and in the alcoves the same flowers were tastefully chosen. Tho mufiie, played by Mr. Lauri Paddi and the Peter Pan Dance Band, loft nothing to be desired. Among those present were: Mrs. J. Griflin, who wore a frock of amber lace; Mrs. C. A. Jarman, bTack lace and georgette; Mrs. F. Lucas, black and gold embossed net; Mrs. J. Roberts (Christchurch), wliito chenille velvet with gold lame Mrs. C. Si Armee (Christchurch), black embroidered chiffon; Miss Dorothy Wallen, white organdie; Miss Zeta Gould, jade lace and gold relief; Miss Ailsa Howard, tea rose satin.
