Supplies of both cabbage and cauliflower are on the short side, with the result that prices advanced. Large quantities of both lettuce audi celery came to hand, and prices ruled low'in consequence. Considerable quantities of kmnaras were received from Tauranga growers, and next week a large shipment is expected from Fiji. Pumpkins, being scarcer, now realise better prices. Supplies of local onions are very heavy, and a shipment from Canada is expected next week. Carrots, parsnips and beetroot are all in keen demand. Carrots: 10d to 1/3 dozen. Parsnips: 9d to 1/0 dozen. Beet: 1/ to 1/6 dozen. Turnips: 5d to 8d dozen. Radish: Od to 9d dozen. Spring onions: 4d to lOd bundle. Spinach: 4d to Od dozen.
