BOARD OF CONTROL.
SATURDAY WEEK'S FIXTURE.
The Auckland Rugby League Board of Control met last evening, Mr. G. Grey Campbell (presiding. _ , , It was decided that Devonport and Richmond be asked to meet again m a return match, on October 7. Members expressed the opinion that this fixture would be an added attraction now as the result of Richmond's success over St. George. The Kia Ora club team of South Auckland was advised that their proposed cur-tain-raiser match with Mangere on October 7" would not eventuate. - The chairman; Preferred to the unqualified success of the annual ball, and -the ladies' committee and others connected with the gathering -were thanked.
