DOMINION TITLES. AUCKLANDERS ON TOP. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, this day. Splendid play characterised the finals of the New Zealand badminton championships on Saturday night. The Auckland competitors captured four of the five titles. The champions for the year are: — Men's Singles.—l. Ellett (Auckland). Ladies' Singles.—Miss J. Ramsay (Auckland). Men's Doubles. —N. R. C. Wilson and A. E. Sandal (Wellington). Ladies' Doubles.—Miss A. Ellett and Mrs. Wren (Auckland). Combined Doubles. —I. Ellett and Miss A. Ellett (Auckland). Results were:— Men's Singles.—l. Ellett beat M. T. Wilson 15—10 in the deciding set. ■ Ladies' Singles.—Miss J. Ramsay beat Miss Ellett in three sets.
Men's Doubles.-—N. R. C. Wilson and A. E. Sandal beat M. T. Wilson and A. F. Weir. 18—15, 18—10. Ladies' Doubles. —Miss A. Ellett and Mrs. Wren beat Misses Ramsay and "Wade in three sets. Combined Doubles. —I. Ellett and Miss A. Ellett beat Rishworth and Miss Ramsay.
