RUMBERG DEFEATS OSWALD
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)
TIMARU, this day.
A wrestling bout last night between Hal Rumberg and Hank Oswald resulted in a win for Rumberg, who secured a fall in the seventh round. The wrestlers indulged in a good deal of showmanship, a section of the crowd counting them out. In the seventh round Rumberg swung Oswald round and round and let go, Oswald flying through the ropes and striking his head on the floor, Rumberg picked his opponent up and dumped him hard, securing a fall with a body-press.
