CLOSING WOOL SALE.
SYDNEY, September 7.
PRICES STILL FIRM AT SYDNEY,
At the closing Sydney wool sale today 13,208 bales were offered and 12,287 were sold. Also 1220 bales weie sold privately! Prices were firm at the best point of the series and all sections operated freely. Greasy Merino sold to 23d. The average price of the wool disposed of in the first three days of this week was £19 0/10 a bale, or 14.3d a lb.
