Notice is hereby given tli.it the Papa.toetoe Town Board, pursuant to Its powers under the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, tue Rating Act, li)2o, and their respective amendments, and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, intends, on TUESDAY, September V-K 1938, to make and levy for the year ending the iJlst: day of .March, 1034, the following Rates upon the Capital Value of all ratable property, as appearing in the Valuation Roll for the time being- in force iu the Pupatoetoo Town District, to l>e payable i:i one sum to the undersigned at the Towu Board 'Office, Public Mall, Papatoetoe. on the .'3rd day of October, 1033:— 1. A General Rnte of One and One-eighth of a Penny In tho pound. 2. A Special Rate of One Penny Three Farthings In the pound to provide interest and sinking fund on loans totalling £37,050. ;). A Separate Rate of Three-eighths of a. Penny in the pound to provide the levy 'made by the Auckland Hospital and Charitable Aid Board. All to be levied on tho Capital Value of all ratable property within the Papatoetoe Town District. % -1. A Water Ratefa) In respect of (he Ordinary Supply upon all lands and buildings to which water is supplied, a Rate of One Part of a Penny in the pound, with a minimum charge of Ten Shillings. (li) Non-consumers Rate upon all lands and buildings to which water can be, but is not supplied, situate within one hundred yards from any part of the waterworks, a rate of One One Hundred and Xiuoty-second Part of a Penny iu the pound, being one ljalf of the above-mentioned rat*, with a minimum charge of Five Shillings. 5 V Special Rate of Onn Thirty-second Part of a Penny in the pound upon the Capital Value of all ratable property in tho Papatoetoe Hall Lonn Special Rating Area. o A Special Rate of Ono-slxteenth of a Penny in the pound upon the Capital Value of all ratable property in the Inula ki Road Loan Special Rating Area. 7 A Special Rate of One Farthing in the pound upon the Capital Value of all ratable property in the Mangere Road Loan Special Bating Area. A rebate of Five Per Centum will he allowed on nil Rates paid on or before October 10, 30;w, provided there are no arrears outstanding. The Rate Book, Valuation Roll, and Estimates on which the above Rates have been made may bo inspected during office hours at the Town Board Ollice, Public Hall, Papatoetoe.
