BRITISH ANXIETY.
Intense Feeling Among Working Classes. TREATMENT OF GERMANS. (British Official Wireless.) (Received 12.30 p.m.) RUGBY, August 31. Sir John Simon to-dny received a deputation from the Independent Labour party, headed by Mr. James Maxton, M.P. According to Mr. Maxton, the deputation desired to express to the Foreign Secretary the intense feeling among the working class in regard to the treatment of certain people and tho present regime in Germany. Mr. Maxton says the Foreign Secretary assured the deputation that the British Government was watching the happenings in Germany with the closest attention.
