LOAN CONVERSION.
PREPARATIONS BEING MADE. LONDON - , August 31. The "Daily Express" says it understands that preparations are advanced for the launching of a Government conversion loan, probably of £300,000,000, during September. Possibly the loan will bo popularised by the Chancellor of the Exchequer, announcing the prospect of an income-tax reduction of 6d in the pound.
