Notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Mount Wellington Road Board held on the 22nd day of August, 1933, the following resolution -was passed, and will be submitted for confirmation, at a Meeting of the Board to be held on TUESDAY, the 26th day of September, 1033, at 7.30 p.m., at the Road Board Office, Mount Wellington Highway. RESOLUTION: "That the Mount Wellington Road Board in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred under the Road Boards Act, 1908, and each and every other Act and authority enabling it in that behalf doth hereby, by way of Special Order, make the following By-law, which shall be read with and as extending and amending By-law No. 1, made and confirmed by the Mount Welling- • ton Road Board on the 19th day of July, 1927. l "The object and purport of the proposed By-law are amending existing By-laws, regulating the erection and use of buildings as public dance hails, social halls or for ] the purpose of public entertainment, pro- 1 viding for the licensing of such buildings, defining a "brick area" and an "outer ! area" and prescribing the nature of the ! materials to be used in the erection of ■ buildings therein."
