BASIC SLAG MARKET.
A London trade report states the market for ground basic slag continues to gain strength and, while it is difficult to figure tho future trend, it is certain prices will be high. Apparently, it is stated, production continues on a very reduced scale, and the demand, even at present high prices, keeps level with the supply. Germany, the biggest market, is a consistent buyer, and, while she is not buying large quantities, her purchases are sufficient to keep the market at high levels.
