BOXING CHAMPIONSHIPS.
RECORD ENTRY OF 101. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) BLENHEIM, this day. Nominations for the New Zealand boxing championships total 101, which is believed to be :i record, associations from Whangarei to Southland being represented. The number of competitors in each class will be:—Fly-weight, 12; bantam, 10; feather, 13; light, 18; welter, 15; middle, 11; lightheavy, 12; heavy, 10. The drawing takes place under the supervision of the New Zealand Council at Wellington to-night.
